In March 2024, SARIC welcomed 101 talented South Asian women engineers to Bangkok for the final leg of the 8-month long WePOWER SAR100 training program. Delivered in partnership with the Asian Institute of Technology and the World Bank, SAR100 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for the female participants, who hailed from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. During the capstone week, the SARIC team hosted a dynamic storytelling session, capturing many inspiring participant insights. We’re excited to share some of these stories with you here.
